How nice would it be as a car shopper to really know how that small car from Seattle Honda Dealers compares to the rest of the vehicles on the road? Well, there is a new proposal on the books that might actually make that possible. When you buy a new vehicle right now from Ford Dealer Minneapolis or any other place for that matter you are given the average city mileage ratings, the highway mpg estimates, and also the estimated annual fuel costs. Well, the new sticker being suggested would have to include the best and worst among all vehicles sold in the United States and then where that specific model falls on that scale.
With more and more fuel efficient hybrids being released from Chevrolet Dealer Chicago, that scale is larger than you might think. We are taking in the hundreds of miles some vehicles are able to get! This whole movement is courtesy of the Obama administration trying to enforce a law from 2007 that requires auto companies to provide consumers with comparable information when purchasing a vehicle. Not only would there be the comparisons for fuel economy estimates but also the levels of green house gases emitted and other smog pollution contributors. The comparison must cover electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and conventional gasoline and diesel vehicles.
