Over the past few years, Kia’s reputation has pretty much skyrocketed. They were once known as a cheaper version of the cars you find at Honda Columbus Dealers, but they have slowly and steadily gained the trust of consumers and rightly earned their reputation for producing quality vehicles. With the release of the 2011 Kia Soul, the company is aiming their attention at the younger market. Edmonton Ford Dealers is also targeting the youth market with the release of the Ford Fiesta. So what does Kia have on their agenda as their next move?
Unlike the gas guzzling power machines you find at Birmingham Dodge Chrysler Dealers, Kia’s car line up is getting more and more fuel efficient. Now, they have announced their intentions of producing a hybrid car in the United States. At first their goal was to have the hybrid portion of the company be under a completely separate name, EcoDynamics. For reasons that aren’t completely known, that idea has been put to the waste side, at least in the United States. Kia has renamed some of their vehicles using an alphanumeric system in South Korea and other global markets.
In the American market, we have plenty of brands that we are responsible for recognizing. One less separate entity is a relief! The two concept cars that would be first to hit the United States in a few years are the Kia Pop and the Kia Ray. The Kia Pop is a micro-car that will remind you of the Smart ForTwo, but the Pop can seat three passengers. The Kia Ray is fully electric and is rechargeable, making it a great choice once it actually goes into production. Of course, both these cars are likely to be introduced in Europe before coming stateside, as the European market is more welcoming of small cars.
