If they are making a move to hold off on releasing new hybrid models to the United States market, one has to wonder whether or not other automakers would be wise to follow suit.

Hybrids certainly cost a lot of money and resources to build, and no automaker would wish to enter into a market where their profitability is at best uncertain.
